Accucell Battery
The Accucell Power Cell is a specialized 1.5v low-drain silver oxide battery engineered for Bulova® Accutron® tuning fork movements (214, 218, 224, and 2300 series). This modified 395 battery replaces discontinued mercury cells and delivers a precise 1.35v output through a proprietary circuit—the correct voltage these precision movements require. The cell assembly mounts in a space ring designed for deeper battery wells, with a soldered tab that prevents over-speed operation. At 11.0mm diameter and 3.65mm height, it fits larger wells where standard batteries fall short. Note: This battery won't register accurately on conventional watch testers due to its specialized design.
